About Us

Kay was a University of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic trained Occupational Therapist who devoted her entire life to helping children born with physical and cognitive challenges. Because of her dedicated work at Denver General Hospital in Colorado, Easter Seals in Miami, Florida and 25 years with Pasco County Schools in Florida, countless children went on to live a better life.

A portion of the funds from Kay's estate were used to create this scholarship. "Kay's Kids" is named in her honor to continue her legacy of creating a brighter future for all children.
